Statement of Claim

Definition:

This is the document that is served on you by a creditor who has filed their claim against you in the Court. You have 21 days to file a statement of defence. If you owe the debt, you would likely not file a statement of defence and the Court will proceed to issue a Court Judgment. See also Court Judgement.
